About the Course:

This course is ideal for any practicing teacher or administrator in American schools who is interested in expanding their professional knowledge about:

How to Enter

Step 1: Submit your Contest Form with your Photo and Short Story by the deadline of Sunday, March 11th, 2018.
We want to know about you and your passion for teaching or school administration in American schools, and why you think an international perspective on education is important!

  • Upload a photograph that that represents your passion for teaching, education, culture, or travel. It could be a picture of you in your classroom or school, on a past vacation, or it could be something outside the box! A photograph with you in it is preferable.
  • Then,  in a short personal narrative of up to 400 words, tell us why you deserve this prize! Are you passionate about international education, learning about new cultures, or traveling? Will this program help you get to the next level in your career? Have you always wanted to go to Ireland?! Let us know why YOU should be sent to Galway, Ireland for three weeks this summer on an amazing professional and cultural experience! Be as creative and descriptive as possible for the contest panel.

Step 2: VOTE for your favorite photo and short story of the 6 Semi-Finalists on FACEBOOK!

The Teachers Council contest panel will review all eligible entries submitted by the deadline, and choose 6 semi-finalists based on their photos and accompanying short stories. The 6 semi-finalist submissions will be placed into a photo album on our Facebook page for public voting! The photo and short story belonging to the semi-finalist that gains the most “LIKES” by the deadline of 9:59:59 am ET on Friday, March 23rd, 2018 will WIN THE GRAND PRIZE of the EDUCATION IN IRELAND SCHOLARSHIP!
