The title of my project is «Is it possible to eat healthily in our school ?»
I’ve chosen this project because I believe that a healthy diet is very important. This topic is very interesting. I know a lot about healthy diet. I want to know more about it.
I want to start with our school menu. In our dining- room there is a large choice: four garnishes, cutlets, fresh salads of your choice, baking, tea, juice and others. The garnishes are pasta, rice, mashed potato, oatmeal and buckwheat. Pasta is my favourite dish. However, it is not the most useful, but it is so tasty! I don`t like rice, but it is very important for our health. Rice helps our body to digest food faster. In our school mashed potato is very tasty. Mashed potato is healthy for children. Buckwheat is a healthy garnish, but some children say it is not tasty. We have salads with cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, unions. We have a lot of baking. They are bun with sugar, sausage in dough, Mack bun, bun with apple, pie with potato, pie with cabbage and others. Baking which I love more than others is a Mack bun.
As you know baking and salads with mayonnaise is not healthy food. It’s junk food. But our dining room has a healthy food, for example, rice, buckwheat, cabbage and cutlets.
To finish up I can say that in our school you can eat healthily if you will chose healthy products which are present in the school menu.
