Dear Ronny,
Thank you for your email message. I hope everything is fine with you and your family.
In your letter you asked me about seasons and weather. Well, the weather in Russia is hot and sunny in summer. Also, it’s extremely muggy, especially in July and August. My favourite season is autumn because I celebrate my birthday. Sometimes I like rainy and cloudy days. My future plans for the summer are simple. I’m going to enter university and spend time with my family.
Now, it’s my turn to ask you questions. Where is your uncle from? How old is he? Do you get along with each other?
Well, I’d better go now as I have to help my mother in the kitchen.Write me back soon.
Best wishes,
Tanya

Hi Ronny,
Thank you for the e-mail! I am glad to hear from you. I’m sorry I couldn’t answer earlier because I was busy with my exams.
In your message you asked me about summer. You know, the weather here is varied in this season. It can be rather hot in the south of the country and cool in the north. As for me, I prefer summer, this is the season when we have vacations. This summer I am planning to go the summer camp, then my parents are going to take me to the country.
By the way, I’d like to know more about your uncle. Where does your uncle live? Has he got a family? How long is he going to stay with you? I’ve got to go now, as I’ve got lots of homework to do.
Keep in touch!
Yours,
Alice

Hi Ronny,
Thanks a lot for your email. I was incredibly happy to receive it so soon.
You’re asking me about Russian summer. Well, it’s pretty hard to give an exact answer as our country is huge. Thus, the weather may vary from boiling to rather chilly. As for me, summer is the best season of all, because there’s a lot of sunshine, so I can lie on a beach with a popsicle or fresh fruit. By the way, this is exactly what I’m going to do this summer. We’re visiting my granny who lives by the seaside, so I’m going to sunbathe and pick delicious berries every day.
It’s so cool that your uncle is going to pay you a visit. What does he do? What is he like? Is he a football fan like you?
Well, it’s time to star doing my homework. Hope to hear from you soon.
Love,
Tanya
