Тема урока Welcome to London (Добро пожаловать в Лондон)
Цели урока:
обучающие
— расширение лингвистического кругозора учеников, приобретение знаний о Лондоне;
— активизация лексических единиц по теме «Добро пожаловать в Лондон»;
— формирование языковых навыков: навыков чтения, говорения, аудирования, письма;
— закрепление полученных знаний, использование в речи новых слов;
развивающие
— развитие языковых способностей учеников, умения самостоятельной работы, творческого мышления, готовность к коммуникации;
— развитие коммуникативной культуры и компетенции учеников;
воспитательные
— привитие интереса к культуре, традициям, достопримечательностям города;
— воспитание уважения друг к другу, умение работать в коллективе (в паре, в группе);
Форма урока: урок-путешествие
Оборудование: ноутбук, проектор, экран, презентация в PowerPoint, мяч, раздаточный материал, англо-русские и русско-английские словари
ХОД УРОКА
I.Организационный момент
(подготовка учащихся к работе на уроке; мотивация на успех учебной деятельности, создание благоприятной атмосферы на занятии):
— Good morning, girls and boys! Glad to see you! How are you? Are you ready for the lesson? It is very nice.
— Today we will have an unusual lesson. We are going to travel today.
- Фонетическая разминка
Teacher: First, let’s prepare our tongues for the English language. Listen to the words and repeat after me. Now match these words with the pictures.
— Where can we see these objects, these buildings?
-Today we are going to visit one city. Look at this puzzle and try to guess the name of a very famous city. This city is very important for English people. What is the city?
III Введение темы урока. Совместное целеполагание.
— Have you ever been to London? Would you like to visit London?
— What is the topic of our lesson?
The topic of our lesson is “Welcome to London”
I want you to play the game – agree or disagree.
If you agree you’ll repeat my statement.
If you disagree correct it.
- T:London is small.
-P1: No, I disagree. London is not small. It is rather big.
- T:It stands on the river Thames.
-P2: Yes, I agree. It stands on the river Thames.
- T:The Romans built a town on the River Thames.
-P3: Yes, I agree. It is right.
- T:The first name of the town was Londinium.
-P4: Yes, I agree. It is right. It was the name of port on the Thames.
5.T:The Queen of England lives in White Tower.
–P6: No, I disagree. The Queen of England lives in Buckingham Palace. The First Queen of England –Victoria lived there too.
- T: Big Ben is a church.
–P7: No, I disagree. Big Ben is not a church. It is the biggest Clock in London.
- T: London is a capital of England.
-P8: Yes, I agree. It is right. London is a capital of England.

IV Развитие навыков аудирования.
— We are going to travel together. But it is necessary for us to find the places that we want to visit. What do you know about London?
— Now you will watch the video about the sights of London and match the places with their names.
V Работа с картой Лондона.
— Look at the map of London. Let’s find these sights on the map.
— What other symbols of London do you know? Look at the map again and call me them. What kind of transport can we use in London? Can you guess them?
VI Физкультминутка
-This is another symbol of London. What is it? What kind of sport can you imagine with this ball? Football is the most popular sport in London. London has several leading football clubs. Do you know them?
— Let’s imagine that we are on the football pitch. Feel the atmosphere and try to dance with these people.
VII Разработка и представление проектов детьми.
— I`ll divide you into three groups (The first group will consist of….. the second one… and the third group will include… Now we are in London. Please, choose your transport to get to your place.
— Let’s imagine that you are tourist agents. It’s time to advertise to our guests your tourist project about the Buckingham Palace.
— Let’s imagine that you are historians. You should read the text about the Tower of London and find out some historical facts.
